Well the weather has been getting  a little milder. We have had 1 veteran go to Danville Ill Veterans Hospital this month. We have also had Neal Ulsh come back and he is fine and he has been able to get his mother in a Home .

We have had 27 phone calls into my office and I have had 4 people come into the office thru the month.

I will be at the American Legion Post 72 in Crawfordsville, IN to give support to any veteran or spouse that need it, I will be at the Post on Oct. 14 2021 Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm till 4:30.

We will have the Veterans Expo this month on the 21st from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm   Veterans and spouses will be able to get their flu shots compliments of Walgreens. They will need to provide their MEDICARE CARD.

Brunch will be served during the event. Sugar creek Eye Care will be there along with Montgomery County VSO Joe Ellis, VFW, Legion, DAV, and other participants.

Also a walk-in Flu Clinic is available for veterans enrolled in VA Health care from 7:30 am until 3:45 pm ET each day. No appointment is necessary. The VA Medical Center is located at 1481 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. Also this year , your Indianapolis VAMC is administering the

Fluad vaccine for patients 65 and older, and AFLURIA for all others.

Also if you can’t be at those two flu shots you can get a flu shot at CVS, Kroger or Walmart.
