Highway Department - 2021 Annual Operational Report – Commissioners acknowledged receipt of the annual operations report and it will be submitted to the State.
New Business
DES Work Order Agreement
Approved.
Agreement between the City of Crawfordsville & Montgomery County to share expenses of annual soil testing at the landfill performed by DES. The total amount is $22,067.23 and each entity will pay 50% of the costs of the agreement.
Commitment Letter for Nucor-Tempur Corridor Water Project
Approved.
The County has received a $3 million State grant to help fund the extension of water lines along Nucor Road to Comfort Drive. In order to utilize the grant, the County is required to provide a funding commitment letter to the State. The letter indicates Montgomery County's commitment to financially support the Nucor Tempur Corridor Water Project as follows: Bond: $7,177,000; ARPA funds- $3,700,000; Indiana American Water Rate Increase: $1,623,000. The total amount for the County’s commitment is $12,500,000.
