Well we finally have seen a change in our weather. We have had a total of 24 vets into my office, and I had a total of 97 phone calls into my office. We have had a total of 14 vets to their respective clinics or hospital.
I will be at the American Legion Post 72 on May 1st, 2025 from 1-4 pm so if you want to talk with me, please give call me at 765-361-4133 or just come and see me. I will also be at the VFW Post 1431 in Crawfordsville, from 1-3 pm and then I will be at the DAV Meeting at the Crawfordsville Library from 12:00 noon till 2pm on May 17th.
We are going to have a special event at the new Veteran Memorial will be hosting The Memorial Day Service Monday, May 26th at 11:00 am. After the service there will be a Park Dedication. Speakers yet to be announced. Mayor Barton will give a Proclamation. Hot Dogs, Brats, and Pork burgers will be served at no charge. There will be a fly over of bi-planes and an antique car cruise in as well.
We took in the Vietnam Dinner in Terre Haute on March 29th and I took Dan Goff & Ron Keedy with me and we had a great time. There we 85 veterans in attendance at the meal and the meal was great. Real ID Deadlines: Starting May 7th you will need a real-ID Compliant driver’s license or other acceptable identification to fly domestically, so please plan ahead. As a reminder, Dan Taylor our local attorney in Crawfordsville, will do a free Last Will & Testament for all veterans. It is also the Army’s 250 year in existence.
