You must pay the total amount for the first ticket and only the fine amount for any additional ticket received at the same time. Court costs are set by the State Legislature and need to be paid whether or not you appear in court, unless you are found not guilty or the ticket is dismissed.

Paying a Ticket
If a ticket is an infraction (IF), you can pay the fine BEFORE the court hearing date, and you will not have to appear. If you wish to contest the ticket, you can do so at the set court hearing date.
To Pay a ticket online, go to Mycase.IN.gov and search by case number, Citation Number (UTT), name, or another identifier. Once you find your case, click on it and scroll to the bottom of the page under “Financial Summary”. If the ticket is in our system, there will be a button that says “make a payment”. Click on this to pay your ticket.
Tickets can be paid in person at the Clerk’s office located in the Montgomery County Courthouse in ROOM 102.
