Veterans Memorial Park -

The Park is with a focus on honoring all Veterans and their role in preserving the freedoms and rights that we as Americans hold dear.

The new park is located on the ground just north of the National Guard Armory.  The ground has been leased from Byron Cox American Legion 72.  

The priority is to acquire the centerpiece of the park, a refurbished 1969 H Model Huey Helicopter.   The goal is to have the Huey in place by Veterans Day 2023.
